The China Center for Insurance and Risk Management at Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management (hereinafter referred to as the "Center") was established on April 29, 2008. Building on the longstanding expertise in insurance studies at Tsinghua SEM and with the support of Zurich Insurance Group, the Center is dedicated to creating an internationally influential research platform for insurance and risk management. Its mission is to "promote academic innovation, serve industry development, and deepen international collaboration," with the goal of building an innovative ecosystem that integrates industry, academia, and research.

 

In line with the Center’s development and research needs, and adhering to the principles of openness, fairness, impartiality, and equality, we are now publicly recruiting a full-time Research Assistant.

 

Position Title: Research Assistant (Full-time)

Job Responsibilities:​​

  1. Research Assistance​​

Participate in the Center’s research projects, assist the research team in tasks such as report writing, and ensure the smooth progress of research activities.

  1. Communication, Coordination, and Industry Liaison​​

Maintain close contact with partner universities, enterprises, and media; stay updated on collaboration needs and progress; coordinate to resolve issues arising during collaborations; and ensure the efficient advancement of cooperative projects.

  1. ConferenceOrganization​​

Be responsible for the planning, organization, and end-to-end coordination of various Center events, including meetings, academic forums, and lectures.

  1. Other Tasks​​

Complete other related tasks assigned by Center leadership, such as assisting with daily administrative and financial matters, participating in the Center’s promotional activities, and supporting student club management and coordination.

Qualifications:​

  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  2. Excellent communication, organizational, and coordination skills, along with a strong team spirit.
  3. Relevant research experience, with strong market analysis, marketing, promotion, and coordination capabilities.
  4. Ability to adapt to high-intensity work, quick learning skills, and the capacity to gather information, analyze problems, and propose solutions within short timeframes.
  5. Strong self-management skills, resilience under pressure, a positive attitude, and willingness to take on responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits:​

The position offers compensation and benefits in line with Tsinghua University’s policies for non-faculty regular staff. Salary will be discussed during the interview process.
