The international academic journal Risk Sciences, co-founded by Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management and KeAi Publishing, recently received an anonymous donation from a Singaporean couple. As stipulated by the donors, the funds will be used specifically and exclusively to perpetually fund the Best Paper Award presented at the journal's International Annual Conference, and will not be used for the journal's operational expenses.

Since its inception in 2024, the Risk Sciencesjournal has already held two International Annual Conferences (the Risk Sciences Annual Conference Series) in Beijing and Singapore. The second conference was hosted by Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and the next is scheduled to be held at Imperial College London, UK. The primary aim of these annual conferences is to promote the Risk Sciencesjournal to the international academic community and foster scholarly exchange in risk-related disciplines among local and international researchers.

This donation not only reflects international recognition of the Risk Sciences journal's initiative for multidisciplinary development but will also help the journal attract and encourage more scholars to present and discuss their significant research findings at its International Annual Conference.

They hope this contribution will promote in-depth collaboration in risk management and interdisciplinary studies, inspire more outstanding scholars to engage in internationally impactful academic research, and jointly address global risk challenges. Subsequently, Risk Scienceswill announce the naming of this annual Best Paper Award and the details for submission/nomination.
As an international academic publication co-established by KeAi and Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management, Risk Sciencesis dedicated to academic research and industry practices concerning emerging risks and disruptive technologies across multiple fields. These include economics, finance, management, agriculture, engineering, environment, health, public health, public administration, law, and natural sciences. Moving forward, Risk Scienceswill continue to uphold its founding principles of being open, interdisciplinary, and innovative, striving to build a high-level platform for academic exchange and to promote knowledge innovation and collaborative success in the global field of risk science.
