On November 6, 2025, at the "Forum on the High-Quality Development of Learned Societies (Associations) and the Launch Conference of 2025 High-Impact Academic Conference Proceedings" hosted by CNKI · China Scientific Literature Metrology and Evaluation Research Center (hereinafter referred to as "CNKI Evaluation Center"), the "Proceedings of China International Conference on Insurance and Risk Management" was successfully selected into the "Evaluation Report on High-Impact Academic Conference Proceedings (2025)" and awarded the title of "2025 High-Impact Academic Conference Proceedings" for its outstanding academic influence. This highlights the academic value and industry recognition of the proceedings in the field of insurance and risk management.

The selection of "High-Impact Academic Conference Proceedings" was based on 3,162 academic conference proceedings indexed by CNKI from 2022 to 2024. After strict screening—including removing duplicate publications, setting basic evaluation thresholds, and integrating related series of proceedings—a total of 981 proceedings entered the evaluation stage, ensuring the quality and representativeness of the candidates.
The evaluation system is comprehensive and rigorous, focusing on two core dimensions: citations and downloads. It selects four indicators to form the "Conference Proceedings Influence Index":
- Total PCSI (Paper Citation Standardization Index): Sum of PCSI values of all papers in the proceedings, accounting for 30% of the total weight.
- Average PCSI: Total PCSI of the proceedings divided by the number of papers, accounting for 40% of the total weight.
- Total PDSI (Paper Download Standardization Index): Sum of PDSI values of all papers in the proceedings, accounting for 15% of the total weight.
- Average PDSI: Total PDSI of the proceedings divided by the number of papers, accounting for 15% of the total weight.
The system emphasizes both the overall academic contribution (Total PCSI, Total PDSI) and the average quality of individual papers (Average PCSI, Average PDSI), adhering to the evaluation orientation of "pursuing both quantity and quality". All indicator data are sourced from CNKI's Academic Essentials Database, ensuring authority and accuracy.
- The proceedings were divided into 12 disciplinary groups with reference to the Ministry of Education's discipline categories (comprehensive proceedings were classified into the "Comprehensive Disciplines" group).
- After normalization within each group, the "Conference Proceedings Influence Index" was calculated by weighting and sorted in descending order, with the top 25% (Q1 zone) selected as preliminary candidates.
- Finalists were determined after review by senior industry experts. The "Proceedings of the International Annual Conference on Insurance and Risk Management in China" stood out among numerous candidates, gaining professional recognition for its academic quality and influence.
This is not the first time the series of proceedings has won such an honor. The "Proceedings of 2019 China International Conference on Insurance and Risk Management"—produced by the 2019 China International Conference on Insurance and Risk Management, co-hosted by the China Center for Insurance and Risk Management (Tsinghua SEM), Bayes Business School (formerly Cass Business School, City, University of London), and the School of Insurance, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics—was also selected into the "Evaluation Report on High-Impact Conference Proceedings" and awarded the title of "2024 High-Impact Academic Conference Proceedings" at the 2024 "CNKI Academic Influence Evaluation Series Report Launch Conference".
The two awards fully demonstrate that the proceedings of the China International Annual Conference on Insurance and Risk Management have always maintained distinct characteristics of professional solidity, forward-looking perspectives, and timely dissemination. They align with the core value of academic conference achievements—"activating academic thinking, disseminating scientific research results, promoting advanced technologies, supporting disciplinary development, and discovering scientific research talents". The proceedings provide high-quality references for cutting-edge academic exploration in the field of insurance and risk management, and lay a solid foundation for building a disciplinary brand conference with cutting-edge academic communication power, innovative leadership, and international influence.
